- Prof. Tianhong Cui's project, "NSF-EPSRC: Nano-Embossed Microwave Photonic Sensors," has been funded by the NSF/EPSRC joint program. In collaboration with the University of Cambridge and Cleveland Clinic, the project aims to develop a high-sensitivity, low-cost photonic sensor platform for detecting circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in cancer diagnosis, addressing the need for rapid, portable, and ultra-sensitive solutions.
